Maryland's Volt Fund to help new business owners

Finding the funds necessary to start a business can be hard to do. Many new business ideas have potential, but getting a bank to agree and give loans to start a company can be difficult, regardless of how impressive the presentation given may be. Thanks to the new Volt Fund, Maryland residents now have another option when seeking a new business loan.

University of Maryland signs 10-year deal with Under Armour

When businesses in Bethesda form, they often do so thinking they will be able to work directly with their clients or customers and no one else. While a business may be able to do a majority of its work with its own clients and customers, there is almost always at least one other business with which the first business must work. When business work together, it is almost always under a contract.
